Bio:

I am a Master’s researcher in Biomedical Sciences at Rutgers University–Newark, specializing in Biotechnology and Molecular Neuroscience. My research focuses on transcriptional profiling and molecular characterization of glucose-sensing neuronal populations within the ventromedial hypothalamus (VMH). Using advanced techniques such as multiplex RNAscope fluorescent in situ hybridization and circuit-level mapping, I investigate how gene expression and metabolic signaling regulate neuronal excitability and behavioral outputs. I am particularly interested in integrating molecular neurobiology with computational and translational approaches to better understand metabolic brain regulation and neurodegenerative disease mechanisms. As a contributor to GHAIR (Global House of Australian Independent Research), I aim to foster interdisciplinary collaboration between experimental neuroscientists and computational researchers, promote early-career academic development, and support global research networking initiatives that bridge molecular biology, AI-driven analysis, and translational brain science.
